Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American actress and singer. Her most acclaim was for her role as Layla Grant in the drama series Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard in Sharknado (2013). Also, she played the lead role of Jerrica Jem Benton, in the feature film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. She is the younger sibling of Ally. Aubrey performed at the Orlando Repertory Theatre in her youth for 10 years. She is a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School and was awarded valedictory honors for students of the 2012 class after she completed her studies. Harvard University admitted her, however, she was required to vote for her admission a second time due to her Nashville role. Peeples starred as a guest in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). Peeples was a part of two TV-produced movies, Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). She had a major character in Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama Series in its second season. In 2019, Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder in an interview in NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples among the best actors aged under twenty years old in September 2014.
